The weather, at times, during the last few weeks, has been magnificent. Summer officially started on the 21st of June, and it sure started with a bang. The brighter weather and longer days sure help to inspire and to make one feel alive, and these are feelings I want to continue when I arrive back from one of our day trips or evenings out at a friend’s barbecue.
As we enter the full holiday season here in the UK many people will be looking forward to heading overseas for their summer break. With prices for home-based holidays skyrocketing, it is often cheaper to fly abroad than to book somewhere in the UK for a one or two-week holiday. For the children and grandchildren being able to travel on an aeroplane simply adds to the excitement.

When deciding which picture frame to purchase, there are a number of factors to consider. For some, affordability will be at the top of the list. This is to be expected in the current financial climate. UK inflation jumped to 3.5% in April after higher utility bills and tax rises kicked in. Other factors include style, what you are framing, and where you are going to hang the frame.
It can be somewhat tricky to photograph jewellery, especially when doing so for the first time. Even the smallest of errors can lead to your special pieces looking somewhat distorted and dull, nowhere near as immaculate and beautiful as they appear to the naked eye.
For people who live somewhere which is quite small such as a bedsit, a houseboat, a flat, a studio apartment, or a cabin, it can sometimes be difficult to display the number of photos in picture frames that they would like to. This is, of course, due to the lack of available wall space. To hang all the picture frames that we would potentially want could easily leave the space looking cluttered, unbalanced and overcrowded.
The passing of a loved one is never easy whatever their age when they died. We are all different and we all grieve in different ways. For some, despite the loss, they are able to move on and continue with their lives fairly quickly but for other people, it can be quite a long time before they are able and ready for their life to return to some type of normality.
One of my best friends has recently inherited a rare coin collection. The collection was found in a box in a loft. After conducting research and meeting with a couple of specialists in the field it was established that the coins were of little monetary value. It was advised that this may well change if they were passed down to future generations.
On the 5th of May street parties were held up and down the country, including at Downing Street, to celebrate VE Day.
