It can be very easy to find yourself with different styles of picture frames, in a variety of colours and sizes hung throughout the house. What started years before as a well-thought-out interior with styles to suit each room has now become what can only be described as chaotic.
There are some people out there who love to go storm chasing. This is where they track storms in an attempt to witness the raw power of nature. Storm chasing photography is simply where certain people who enjoy this hobby also combine it with taking photographs in order to record and document what they see.
Antique mirrors are becoming increasingly popular. This is no doubt because most of them give off an air of romantic quality, and they help to bring depth, character, warmth and history to any room. Guests will often notice the mirror, and many will enquire as to where you found it, how long you have had it, how much you paid for it, how old it is, plus plenty of additional questions.
During the last few days, I have been going through some of the drawers and cupboards in my house to try and find items that I no longer use or need. I find this to be rather therapeutic, and it’s something I usually do on an annual basis. The majority of people probably have way more things than they require, with some even being classed as hoarders. I much prefer to live in a minimalistic way.
Have you ever been on holiday, seen people taking underwater photographs, and wondered how they are managing to do so successfully? How is the camera not damaged by the water? Is there some magical way that they are using to enable them to photograph the fish and other items to produce top-notch shots? A friend of mine is currently in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt and was messaging me last night telling me all about it.
If you are currently looking for inspiration as to what to gift a loved one who has a favourite sports team, then this blog post may well provide the solution. I have recently been gifted an item which is definitely up there as one of the best presents I have ever received, and I am aged 52! It was a gift that was well thought out, and they do say that it’s the thought that counts!
When looking through your phone, you might come across some amazing memories from one of your photo galleries. It could be from a holiday with friends, a christening, or a family gathering. Perhaps it is a photo of your children when they were very young, or from any number of other social occasions from your past.
There aren’t many people out there who enjoy doing household chores such as dusting. For that reason, it is always nice to learn about new ways to keep items such as picture frames dust-free for longer. It can be extremely frustrating to see a new light layer of dust settling on your frames only one or two days after spending so much time cleaning them.
When people come to our store looking to purchase a picture frame, we often get asked the same types of questions, and they will usually be focused on the frame itself.
“I have this photo that I would like to frame. What colour of frame would you recommend?”
For those of you who have booked onto a cruise or are thinking of doing so, and who also like to take photographs, perhaps on a handheld camera or a smartphone, have you ever thought about the best way to take these photos? I suppose the answer to this question will depend on how confident and expert a photographer you are.
