The Indy marketplace for new artists is booming. The rise of the Etsy marketplace made it easy for new artists to start selling their art without the need for gallery space, art fairs or any other expensive platform to sell their art. The result is a variety of art forms with pricing to reflect any budget. If your walls need any wall art, you can get bespoke types online easily. Even Amazon has moved in with their Handmade by Amazon containing a whole category devoted to handcrafted art.

How often do you look at your photos wondering how they could be shown better? If they’re displayed in your sitting room, chances are, the thought will cross your mind on occasion.

It’ll rarely be acted on though, because you’ll likely have repositioned the frames half a dozen times and still be none the wiser as to how to give your frames and the art inside them a home on the walls within your home.

Even if that’s the garden shed for some DIY handy work. No area is as cosy as it could be without a bit of wall art, although for the shed hobbyists, it may be something more nostalgic you’d want to frame rather than some art.

The good weather’s here and it’s the season to welcome the creepy crawlies. All those uninvited guests to straddle through the tiniest cracks you never even knew you had.

Most families have their kids back to school photos on prominent display. Obviously because they’re proud of each of them but it’s far from the whole story.

You can have both, but if you’re just lining up dozens of 6” x 4”, 7” x 5” and other smaller sized photo frames, chances are, your side tables, coffee tables and any shelving units, and the wall shelves too… are looking a bit cluttered.

The average family home owner are not art collectors so will not pay too much attention to framing photos, mostly because they’re not considered valuable in the monetary sense, but more so on an emotional level.

Finding inspiration for your interior décor can come from many places, mostly online through social media platforms. Facebook photos, Instagram and gorgeous glossy cover photos on Pinterest. Some people still find their inspiration from magazines picked up in the supermarket. They all work.

Artistic elements are in every room, whether you intended to create the look or not. If you take a look around the photos, you have on your walls, on sideboards, and dressing tables and the soft furnishings you have, you’ll notice they either complement or detract from a central theme.
