To be happily in love is one of the greatest feelings in the world. So much so that we want and hope that the love and the amazing feelings associated with it last forever. We want to show, on a regular basis, the love of our life just how much they mean to us. This is quite easy to do in many respects, such as a positive comment about their clothes, their hair, their hard-working nature, their positive outlook on life, and even their driving. To regularly mention just how much we love them, just how much they mean to us, just how lucky we feel to have met them, and how appreciative we are of everything they do for us can go a long way. But when it comes to Christmas or their birthday, or an anniversary, it can, at times, be difficult to know what to buy as you, of course, want it to be special and so special that it makes them feel adored and loved.
Sending a romantic gift in the form of framed poetry
They say that actions speak louder than words but what if you can have actions and words? This really would be a win-win and is exactly what a romantic poem housed in a frame can provide. The thought process and the overall process of deciding which poem to go with, and which frame to display it in are the actions. The words in the poem are, of course, the words.
You could go a step further by writing the poem out yourself perhaps using calligraphy pens which will show additional effort on your part. It is then just a case of choosing a frame to complement it. As an alternative you could go with framed romantic poetry; a poem which has already been framed.
Probably the best place to hang the frame would be the bedroom as this is your own private space but this can be a decision that can be made together after the gift has been presented.
Here is one of my favourite romantic poems which is proudly displayed in our home. It is from The Notebook, by Nicholas Sparks.
"I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I’ve ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, every day we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours.".
I also gave this poem as a gift and it was probably one of my better decisions! It was something that my wife describes as being one of her favourite gifts she has ever received. It’s quite crazy, but in a good way, as it was also one of the least expensive gifts, I have ever bought her. It just goes to show that you don’t always have to spend huge amounts of money when buying presents or gifts and that it’s ultimately the thought that counts.
