When people come to our store looking to purchase a picture frame, we often get asked the same types of questions, and they will usually be focused on the frame itself.
“I have this photo that I would like to frame. What colour of frame would you recommend?”
For those of you who have booked onto a cruise or are thinking of doing so, and who also like to take photographs, perhaps on a handheld camera or a smartphone, have you ever thought about the best way to take these photos? I suppose the answer to this question will depend on how confident and expert a photographer you are.
When thinking about which would be the best colour of picture frame to go for, one thing that shouldn't influence the decision is what other people might choose. We do, however, for whatever reason, have a curiosity of wanting to know how other people live, how they are decorating their house, what themes they are opting for this season, what colour scheme they have chosen, whether they are going for the minimalistic look and much more besides.
We all have them: a number of amazing art prints from last year's summer holiday, a vintage music concert poster that we managed to find in a local record shop, or perhaps a collection of photos that we have taken during the last few years that are stored on our phones, which are patiently waiting for us to bring them to life by printing and framing them.
When purchasing a custom picture frame online something that can put some people off is when it comes to the measuring. Again, I emphasise the word "some" here as the majority of people have no issues when it comes to providing the measurements. But for others, it is not so easy, and they are not as confident about the whole process. "What if I get it wrong?" Or "What if the frame arrives and my picture doesn’t fit?"
This summer has already been a record breaker in terms of temperatures. You could be forgiven for thinking you are in Cyprus, Spain or Portugal, to name just a few of the countries that you would normally associate with this type of weather in the month of June.
We have been enjoying plenty of hot, sunny days here in the UK in recent weeks; some would go as far as to say it’s been too hot and humid. The summer has certainly started with a bang weather-wise, and it seems from what the reports say that we have plenty more fine days to come. During these periods, people tend to spend a lot more time outdoors, for obvious reasons.

I guess that most of us have at some point in the past.
We all know the areas of our property where it's suitable to hang a picture frame, whether it be the living room, our bedroom, the kitchen, or the dining room. But what about rooms or areas of our property where it's not suitable to hang picture frames? Are there any, or are we able to simply hang picture frames wherever we want to in a manner which won't negatively impact them?
For those of you who enjoy reading interior design blogs or wandering around contemporary art galleries, you are likely to have noticed just how popular canvas floating frames are at the moment. In reality, this isn’t something that has happened overnight; they have been in vogue for some time now, and it looks likely to continue for the foreseeable future.
