The Importance of Framing Your Proudest Moments

  • joybrealey's Blog

Luke Littler has taken the world of darts to a whole new level over the last couple of seasons. In 2025, he beat Michael van Gerwen in the final of the PDC World Darts Championship. This was his second successive appearance in the final (he was beaten by Luke Humphries in 2024). He is still only eighteen years of age and in a recent interview he was asked about the type of darts he uses and about how regularly he changes them. He replied that the darts he played with to become world champion are about to be put into a frame as a way of preserving their importance for the future and protecting the darts from being damaged, lost, or stolen. He has, therefore, been playing with a different set since beating Michael in the final. For someone so young to have already achieved so much, to be able to act with such maturity, and to be able to communicate so effortlessly, freely and confidently in these types of interviews is a credit to himself and his family.

When achieving something that is so special and something that makes us so proud it is important to want to keep that memory alive for the future. Our children and grandchildren would love to hear the story of our success and to be able to tell it to them alongside a picture frame which has something that we wore, something that we played with, such as a set of darts in Luke's case, or something else that marks the occasion, then it will definitely add to the words and be something the young ones view with excitement.

As well as an aid in telling the story of your great triumph to future generations, framing something of importance from that successful day, is also of benefit to you. We all like to reminisce from time to time. Sometimes it is in a group with friends and family but at other times it's good to take a look back on your own and reflect on the path and journey life has taken us on so far. Seeing the frame hung on the wall helps take us back to that special moment and remember just how amazing it felt to feel on top of the world.

When we are feeling somewhat low or lethargic, which let's face it happens to us all at certain points, having this picture frame proudly displayed in a prominent area of the wall in one of the rooms, can soon help to turn our frown upside down as it reminds us that we have been a winner, that we have been able to achieve great things and that, therefore, we need to get out of this rut, to dust ourselves down, and to start believing again. We achieved the success that is showcased in this frame by being dynamic, proactive, hard-working and having a positive mindset. The path out of this lethargic mood is by going back to these ways and by doing so further success will be just around the corner.
